(1) If there is a change in the tonnage, category or any other details of the ship, the owner of the ship must submit a report to the office within one month of such change.
(2) In the application given according to sub-rule (1), it should be clearly written what kind of changes have been made to the vessel.
(3) Upon receipt of the application as per sub-rule (1), the registrar, upon examination, shall, upon examination, state such alteration in the registration book, cancel the previous registration certificate and issue a new registration certificate after taking a deposit of fifty rupees.
